Her consultation style enables patients to be actively involved in the decision making process, as she is passionate about supporting and inspiring patients to reach their chosen wellbeing goals. This is achieved through an offering of longer consultations that integrate conventional medicine and counselling, incorporating cognitive behavioural therapy, goal setting, mind body techniques, and emotional based therapies.
Fiona also teaches meditation, utilising her training in energy medicine and spiritual therapies. She has been an accredited Ignite Your Spirit (an Energy Medicine based counselling technique) therapist for the past 5 years, running meditation sessions for health professionals at the Royal Children’s Hospital,CoHealth (Collingwood) and OVAHS Aboriginal Medical Service.
